Inside the cabinet is all those acoustic stuff, very itchy and don't ever touch them with your bare hand.
All the coils and diodes were bought in Guangzhou. Thanks my homeland.
Altec 406-8Y. I bid them from ebay last year. Luckily my good friend Kam knows how to put all the drivers together and did all the "internal" things, making the whole system works "perfectly".
The cabinets were made in Guangzhou. Kam and I went to Guangzhou last year to place order. We also bought many electronics parts and order for all the necessary coils. I didn't know them at all but everything was quite interesting.
My Altec 806A driver + 811B Horn. So sweet and real sound. Don't know it is the power of the alnico magnet, or the technique Altec owned. The black little stuff on top of the 811B is the EV T35B tweeter. They finally found each other.
